Access Control

The building automation system also enables card-based control or activation for certain areas of the building, such as laboratories, staff rooms or infectious disease rooms. The main functions for using access control are:

• Control the access of people by day and time.
• Arm and disarm the intrusion system through access control.
• Review historical access events.
• Open and close doors automatically on schedule.
• No mechanical keys, biometric controls or access cards.
